Umika Pathak

Exhibitions and Development Coordinator

Umika Pathak is a writer and aspiring curator invested in the arts, texts, and theories of the subaltern and the practice of socially-engaged curation. Her writing has been previously published in the International Journal of the Arts in Society. She holds a BA in English from Haverford College.

In her role, Umika manages exhibitions and supports development at Twelve Gates through grant writing and collaborating with artists & guest curators to create meaningful programs and experiences that center South Asia and the South Asian diaspora– all of which she is deeply passionate about.
