sāgar kāmath offers a night of storytelling and mythical journeying that weaves together Kathak dance, painting, video, and sound in a one-night-only, one-man show. Produced in relation to the paintings sāgar created for the summer 2026 group show “A Traveler Weeps, A River Laughs” at Twelve Gates Arts and the banners created for the front facade of the Parkway Central Library, this will be an intimate evening of exploration of diasporic identity, nostalgia, boyhood, and the pursuit of the American Dream.
This event is presented in partnership with Twelve Gates Arts, ArtPhilly 2026, and the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design.
