Includes artist talks, poetry readings, dance & music performances, open mic, and more. Salon events are free to the public and operate with the purpose of bringing education, awareness, and entertainment to the Philadelphia community. 


Youth workshops are an opportunity for students and their families to engage through art. It provides students 6 to 14 years old a chance to participate in artist-led workshops in calligraphy, painting, fabric, and sculpture. It is important to revive youth engagement in non-digital media as bringing hands-on creativity and cultural awareness to children stimulates their minds and open their world.

transform(art)ive: ART FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

A series of 1 to 7 days of art exhibitions or provoked expression in conjunction with talks panel & discussions on issues of social justice, engaging and inspiring the community into critical thinking and empathetic understanding of the world around us.


Annual Contemporary Experimental Video Art Festival celebrating contemporary video art created by artists from or about the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, now in its 3rd year. Subjects and themes for the exhibit include queer, controversial, poetic, abstract, political, philosophical, uncensored - anything that stretches beyond conventional.


A city-wide performance art biennial platform dedicated to the genre of performance art in Philadelphia serving and presenting works by contemporary performance artists referencing regions of the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Subjects and themes of perform(art)ive vary from one edition to another. The first edition held in 2015 included themes of queer, gender, women, oppression, equal rights, social justice, and censorship.  of artists whose work will illuminate the South Asian-diasporic experience as well as the medium of performance art itself. The physical presence of the artists in the space and the effect that has on the viewer makes for an unforgettable and inspiring experience.
